The Central Statistics Agency has released average per capita calorie consumption by province by 2018. From this data it is found that there are still 13 provinces with an average calorie consumption below 2100 kcal per day. However, if consumption is below 2100 kcal, then the population is categorized as a poor population. This means that there are around 38.24 percent of the province's vulnerable population categorized as poor in terms of calorie fulfillment.
There are still many provinces that are vulnerable to population categorized as poor in terms of consumption making anyone worry in meeting calorie needs in Indonesia. These 13 provinces are spread throughout the archipelago. Only the provinces in Java are safe in fulfilling their calorie needs. The provinces of Maluku, North Maluku and Papua became 3 provinces with the lowest average calorie consumption in Indonesia in 2018. Even though the fulfillment of these calories is needed in printing the nation's generation of children. It's natural that many people see that Java is the most conducive environment in educating children. Stereotypes such as this will further strengthen Indonesia's centralization on the island alone.
