In December 2024, there was annual inflation/year on year (y-on-y) in East Belitung Regency of 1.38 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.40.

Annual inflation/y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the index in several expenditure groups, namely: education group by 15.31 percent; personal care and other services group by 3.76 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.90 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.78 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 1.15 percent; health group by 0.96 percent; food, beverage, and tobacco group by 0.79 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.37 percent; transportation group by 0.34 percent; and recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.23 percent. On the other hand, the group that experienced y-on-y deflation or a decrease in the index was the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.04 percent.

The monthly inflation rate/month to month (m-to-m) and the calendar year inflation rate/year to date (y-to-d) of East Belitung Regency in December 2024 were 1.17 percent and 1.38 percent, respectively.
