Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in February 2022 was recorded at 18.91 thousand people, a decrease of 22.88 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-February 2021), the flow of departing passengers also decreased by 47.88 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2022 was recorded at 26.72 thousand people. The number decreased by 30.79 percent compared to the previous month. However, when compared to the same period last year (January-February 2021), the flow of incoming passengers has increased by 173.16 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in February 2022 was 708.41 thousand tons, an increase of 7.77 percent compared to the previous month which was only 657.33 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during February 2022 was 331.47 thousand tons, an increase of 34.41 percent compared to the previous month which was only 246.62 thousand tons. The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in February 2022 was recorded at 54.01 thousand people, a decrease of 9.78 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers who came to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in February 2022 was 48.69 thousand people, a decrease of 26.01 percent compared to the previous month.
