The Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in August 2023 rose 1.34 percent

Abstract

The NTP of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in August 2023 was 115.43 or up 1.34 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the index Prices Received by Farmers (It) rose by 1.29 percent while the Price Index paid by farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.05 percent.
NTP of the Food Crops Subsector (NTP-P) of 93.91; Horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H) of 105.73; People's Plantation Plantation Sub-sector (NTP-R) of 117.57; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) of 106.07; Fishery Subsector (NTP-P) of 113.48 with Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) of
114.28 and the Aquaculture Fisheries (NTPi) group of 90.27.
In August 2023 there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) by 0.04 percent which was caused by a decrease in the index in the group expenditure on food, beverages, and tobacco as well as expenditure groups transportation. Meanwhile, 6 expenditure groups experienced an increase and 3 other expenditure groups did not experience changes in the index.
Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province August 2023 is 111.22 or an increase of 1.35 percent compared to the month's NTUP previously.
