Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in August 2023 was recorded at 40,419 people. This number decreased by 16.35 percent compared to the number of guests the previous month, namely 48,322 people. The number of domestic guests decreased by 16.65 percent and foreign guests increased by 16.55 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in August 2023 reached 34.00 percent, down 4.20 points compared to the July 2023 TPK which was recorded at 38.20 percent.
The highest TPK of star hotels by district / city in August 2023 was in Central Bangka Regency at 48.40 percent and the lowest was Bangka Regency with a room occupancy rate of 15.17 percent.
In August 2023, the average length of stay of all guests in star hotels was 1.88 days, an increase of 0.17 days compared to the previous month
