Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The NTP for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in October 2023 was 118.20 or an increase of 0.14 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 0.44 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) increased but was lower, namely by 0.30 percent.
Food Crop Subsector NTP (NTP-P) was 99.07; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) amounted to 111.29; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) was 120.63; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 106.28; The Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 111.94 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 112.69 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) at 90.11.
In October 2023, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.41 percent, which is caused by an increase in the index in 4 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 1 expenditure group experienced a decline and 6 other expenditure groups experienced no change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in October 2023 was 114.60 or an increase of 0.46 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
