Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2023 was recorded at 30.21 thousand people, up 6.31 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-October 2022), the flow of departing passengers experienced an increase of 4.53 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2023 was recorded at 35.18 thousand people. This number increased by 8.14 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-October 2022), the flow of arriving passengers decreased by 5.03 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in October 2023 was 407.15 thousand tons, an increase of 33.84 percent when compared to the previous month which amounted to 304.21 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during October 2023 was 155.44 thousand tons, an increase of 33.00 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 116.87 thousand tons.
The number of air transportation passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in October 2023 was recorded at 76.10 thousand people, an increase of 5.45 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by using air transportation in October 2023 was recorded at 77.95 thousand people, an increase of 9.06 percent compared to the previous month.
