Growth of Transportation in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province March 2024

Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in March 2024 was recorded at 28.19 thousand people, down 8.59 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-March 2023), the flow of departing passengers increased by 32.51 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in March 2024 was recorded at 24.72 thousand people. This number decreased by 15.04 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-March 2023), the flow of incoming passengers increased by 2.00 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in March 2024 was 312.05 thousand tons, an increase of 6.43 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 293.20 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during March 2024 was 101.65 thousand tons, an increase of 6.30 percent compared to the previous month which was 95.63 thousand tons.
The number of air transport passengers departing from Kepulauan Bangka Belitung in March 2024 was recorded at 68.57 thousand people, a decrease of 4.92 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to Kepulauan Bangka Belitung using air transportation in March 2024 was recorded at 76.67 thousand people, an increase of 8.99 percent compared to the previous month.
