Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
The NTP of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in April 2024 amounted to 130.45 or increased by 1.28 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 1.59 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) increased by 0.31 percent.
NTP of Food Crops Subsector (NTP-P) amounted to 100.46; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) amounted to 111.67; People's Plantation Crops Subsector (NTP-R) amounted to 136.20; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) amounted to 111.05; Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) amounted to 109.77 with Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) amounted to 110.53 and Aquaculture Fisheries Group (NTPi) amounted to 87.83.
In April 2024 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.42 percent due to an increase in the index in 6 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 1 expenditure group decreased and 4 other expenditure groups experienced no change in index.
\The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in April 2024 amounted to 128.53 or increased by 1.62 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
