Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
NTP for Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in July 2024 is 136.98 or an increase of 1.84 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 1.33 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.50 percent.
Food Crops Subsector NTP (NTP-P) was 102.78; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 107.63; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) was 145.10; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) amounting to 108.99; The Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 107.99 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 108.68 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) at 88.08.
In July 2024 there will be a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.66 percent which is caused by a decrease in the index in 1 expenditure group. Meanwhile, 8 expenditure groups experienced an increase and 2 other expenditure groups experienced no change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in July 2024 is 133.89 or an increase of 1.40 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
