September 2024, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Room Occupancy Rate of star hotels was 30.56 per cent

Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in September 2024 was recorded at 42,786 people. This number increased by 8.24 per cent compared to the number of guests the previous month of 39,527 people. The number of domestic guests recorded an increase (m-to-m) of 8.53 per cent and the number of foreign guests recorded a decrease (m-to-m) of 7.83 per cent.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in September 2024 was recorded at 30.56 percent, a decrease of 1.24 points compared to the TPK in August 2024 which was recorded at 31.80 percent.

The highest room occupancy rate of star hotels by regency/municipality in September 2024 was in Bangka Tengah Regency at 46.09 percent and the lowest was Bangka Regency with a room occupancy rate of 16.11 percent.

In September 2024, the average length of stay of guests in star hotels was 1.62 nights, a decrease of 0.17 points when compared to August 2024 (m-to-m) or compared to September 2023 (y-on-y).
