Abstract

Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
NTP of Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2025 was 148.45 or an increase of 3.64 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 2.72 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) also decreasing by 0.90 percent.
NTP of Food Crops Subsector (NTP-P) was 100.84; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) was 109.74; The People's Plantation Crops Subsector (NTP-R) was 158.99; the Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 115.73; the Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 110.87 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) being 111.58 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) being 90.10.
In January 2025, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) by 1.14 percent due to a decrease in the index in the housing, water, electricity and household fuel expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 9 expenditure groups increased and 1 other expenditure group did not experience a change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2025 was 144.75 or an increase of 2.93 percent compared to the NTUP of the previous month.
