Abstraction

• The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2019 is worth US $ 94.8 million, down 16.03 percent compared to the export value in December 2018.

• The value of tin exports fell 21.44 percent, while non-tin rose 0.46 percent (m-to-m).

• Compared to the previous year (y-on-y), the value of exports rose by 53.79 percent. Tin exports rose 79.08 percent, while non-tin rose by 15.09 percent.

• In January 2019, Japan absorbed 20.78 percent (US $ 13.9 million) of tin exports, while Australia absorbed 40.60 percent (US $ 11.4 million) of non-export exports.

• The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2019 was US $ 0.9 million, down 91.31 percent compared to December 2018.

• All January 2019 imports are non-oil and gas.

• January 2019 non-oil and gas imports were dominated by machinery / mechanical aircraft (HS 84) of 63.74 percent (US $ 0.6 million).
