Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT

The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2019 was valued at US $ 110.6 million, down 39.48 percent compared to the export value in September 2018.
The value of tin exports fell 43.05 percent and non-profit fell 20.80 percent (y-on-y).
Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose by 12.74 percent. Non-lead exports increased five-fold, while tin exports dropped 6.65 percent.
During January-September 2019, Singapore absorbed 54.19 percent (US $ 470.3 million) of tin exports, while Australia absorbed 17.32 percent (US $ 36.4 million) of non-lead exports.
The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January September 2019 dominates at US $ 95.1 million or 45.17 percent of the total non-regional exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT

The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2019 was US $ 1.7 million, up 6.72 percent compared to September 2018. Thus, imports from January to September 2019 became US $ 12.3 million.
As much as 71.61 percent of imports in January-September 2019 were non-oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to September 2019 are dominated by machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 78.55 percent (US $ 6.89 million).
In January-September 2019, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 6.12 million (49.97 percent).
