Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT

The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2019 was valued at US $ 103 million, down 24.92 percent compared to the export value in October 2018.
The value of tin exports fell 7.24 percent and non-profit fell 59.27 percent (y-on-y).
Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports fell by 6.85 percent. Tin exports fell 3.84 percent and non-lead exports dropped 18.19 percent.
During January-October 2019, Singapore absorbed 52.50 percent (US $ 499.8 million) of tin exports, while Bangladesh absorbed 17.23 percent (US $ 39.5 million) of non-lead exports.
The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-October 2019 dominates at US $ 105.7 million or 46.07 percent of the total non-export exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT

The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2019 was US $ 0.6 million, down 91.14 percent compared to October 2018. Thus, imports from January to October 2019 became US $ 12.8 million.
As many as 72.83 percent of imports in January-October 2019 were non-oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to October 2019 were dominated by machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 78.74 percent (US $ 7.34 million).
In January-October 2019, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 6.57 million (51.33 percent).
