Abstract

A. TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

The number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2019 was 47,395. This number increased by 6.26 compared to the previous month's number of 44,603 people. The number of foreign guests rose 7.74 percent and the number of domestic guests rose 6.22 percent.
Room Classification Rates (TPK) for star classification hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2019 reached an average of 45.06 percent, up 2.17 points compared to the TPK of October 2019 which was recorded at 42.89 percent.
The highest ROR for star-rated hotels by regency / city in November 2019 was in Central Bangka Regency at 63.15 percent, followed by Pangkal Pinang City (45.73 percent), Regency in Belitung Island (44.43 percent), and Bangka Regency (22, 55 percent).
In November 2019, the average total length of stay of guests at a star classification hotel was 1.75 days, a decrease of 0.09 days compared to the previous month. During November 2019, the average length of stay of foreign guests (2.89 days) was 1.17 days longer than Indonesian guests (1.72 days).

B. TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2019 was recorded at 13.97 thousand people, an increase of 0.01 percent compared to October 2019. When compared with the same period in the previous year (JanuaryNovember 2018), the number of passengers departed up by 40.59 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2019 was recorded at 12.04 thousand people. The amount increased by 0.01 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-November 2018), the flow of incoming passengers has increased by 24.09 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in November 2019 was 777.55 thousand tons, down 1.09 percent when compared to October 2019 which reached 786.10 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during November 2019 was 221.42 thousand tons, a decrease of 10.05 percent compared to the previous month which reached 246.16 thousand tons.
The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in November 2019 was 104.62 thousand people, down by 0.50 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in November 2019 was 110.31 thousand people, an increase of 1.68 percent compared to the previous month.
