Abstract

A. TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

The number of guests staying at star hotels in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands in July 2020 was recorded at 10,410 people. This number increased by 163.34 percent compared to the number of guests in the previous month of 3,953 people. The number of domestic guests increased by 163.22 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in July 2020 reached an average of 17.03 percent, down 3.90 points compared to the ROR for June 2020 which was recorded at 20.93 percent.
The ROR for star-rated hotels by regencies / cities in July 2020 was in Pangkalpinang City at 44.63 percent, followed by Central Bangka Regency (15.05 percent), P. Belitung (11.58 percent), and Bangka Regency (7.55 percent) ).
In July 2020, the overall average length of stay of guests at star classification hotels was 2.18 days, an increase of 0.51 days compared to the previous month.

B. TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in July 2020 was recorded at 3.82 thousand people, an increase of 82.52 percent compared to June 2020. When compared to the same period in the previous year (January-July 2019), departing passengers decreased by 68.85 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands in July 2020 was 2.15 thousand people. This number increased by 70.88 percent over the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-July 2019), the flow of incoming passengers decreased by 72.65 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in July 2020 was 456.58 thousand tons, an increase of 23.67 percent compared to June 2020 which reached 369.20 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during July 2020 was 203.37 thousand tons, a decrease of 2.55 percent compared to the previous month which reached 208.69 thousand tons.
The number of air passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in July 2020 was recorded at 24.15 thousand people, an increase of 197.69 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers who came to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in July 2020 was 20.76 thousand people, an increase of 296.85 percent compared to the previous month.
