Pangkalpinang City, in November 2020 inflation was 0.51, CPI 102.71

• Pangkalpinang City, in November 2020 inflation was 0.51 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 102.71. Of the 90 CPI cities, 83 cities experienced inflation and 7 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Tual at 1.15 percent with CPI 106.83 and the lowest occurred in Bima at 0.01 percent with CPI 104.48. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Kendari with 0.22 percent with CPI 104.81. The lowest deflation occurred in Meulaboh and Palopo at 0.01 percent.

• Inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by the increase in the index for several expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.63 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.02 percent; the equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group by 0.16 percent; the transportation group of 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, the group that experienced deflation was the personal care and other services group at 0.15 percent. While the clothing and footwear group; health group; information, communication and financial services group; recreational, sports and cultural groups; education group; as well as the food and beverage / restaurant supply group that did not experience a change in index / stable.

• During the calendar year January-November 2020 (November 2020 against December 2019) there was deflation of 0.19 percent, while on an annual basis (November 2020 against November 2019) deflation was 0.07 percent.
