Abstract

A. TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

The number of guests staying at star hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2020 was 28,901 people. This number increased by 28.87 percent compared to the number of guests in the previous month which was 22,427 people. The number of domestic guests increased by 29.05 percent, and the number of foreign guests decreased by 19.77 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2020 reached an average of 28.42 percent, an increase of 3.79 points compared to the ROR for October 2020 which was recorded at 24.63 percent.
The ROR for star-rated hotels by regencies / cities in November 2020 was in Central Bangka Regency at 35.09 percent, followed by Pangkalpinang City (32.32 percent), P. Belitung (25.30 percent), and Bangka Regency (20.52 percent). ).
In November 2020, the overall average length of stay of guests at star-classified hotels was 2.03 days, a decrease of 0.06 days compared to the previous month.

B. TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2020 was recorded at 4.42 thousand people, an increase of 0.27 percent compared to October 2020. When compared to the same period in the previous year (January-November 2019), departing passengers decreased by 67.81 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands in November 2020 was recorded at 3.73 thousand people. This number decreased 20.48 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-November 2019), the flow of incoming passengers decreased by 69.92 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in November 2020 was 680.49 thousand tons, a decrease of 3.55 percent when compared to October 2020 which reached 705.55 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during November 2020 was 300.93 thousand tons, an increase of 50.49 percent compared to the previous month which reached 199.96 thousand tons.
The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in November 2020 was recorded at 44.31 thousand people, an increase of 41.05 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers who came to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in November 2020 was 44.21 thousand people, an increase of 36.11 percent compared to the previous month.
