Abstract

Transportation:

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2021 was recorded at 25.99 thousand people, an increase of 28.39 percent compared to September 2021. When compared to the same period last year (January-October 2020), the passenger flow that departing experienced an increase of 27.23 percent.

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2021 was recorded at 31.62 thousand people. The number rose 36.20 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-October 2020), the flow of incoming passengers increased by 36.61 percent.

The volume of goods loaded at the port in October 2021 was 772.26 thousand tons, an increase of 4.17 percent compared to September 2021 which reached 741.35 thousand tons.

The volume of goods unloaded during October 2021 was 249.74 thousand tons, a decrease of 15.64 percent compared to the previous month, which was 296.05 thousand tons.

The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in October 2021 was recorded at 44.04 thousand people, an increase of 63.32 percent compared to the previous month.

The number of passengers who came to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in October 2021 was 44.05 thousand people, an increase of 70.59 percent compared to the previous month.

Tourism:

The number of guests staying at star hotels in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in October 2021 was recorded at 33,736 people. This number increased by 22.63 percent compared to the number of guests the previous month which reached 27,510 people. The number of domestic guests rose 22.61 percent while the number of foreign guests also rose 58.82 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in October 2021 reached 31.89 percent, an increase of 8.44 points compared to September 2021 TPK which was recorded at 23.45 percent.

The highest ROR for star hotels by district/city in October 2021 was in Central Bangka Regency at 40.24 percent, followed by Pangkalpinang City (32.04 percent), Belitung Island (32.02 percent), and Bangka Regency (18.67 percent). ).

In October 2021, the average length of stay of all guests at star hotels was 1.71 days, an increase of 0.11 days compared to the previous month.
