Abstract

The number of guests staying at the five-star hotel in Bangka Belitung Province in March 2015 there were 16 452 people. This number increased by 45.61 percent compared to the previous month the number of guests who only amounted to 11 298 persons (Table 1). Neither guest Indonesia and foreign guests each recorded increased to as many as 5,021 people living Indonesia (45.22 per cent) and foreign guests as many as 133 people (68.55 percent)
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star in Bangka Belitung Province in March 2015 amounted to 31.73 percent. TPK value in March rose by 9.14 points compared to the value of TPK in February 2015 amounted to 22.59 percent.
TPK highest five-star hotel by district / city in March 2015 is in Central Bangka regency (37.40 percent), followed by the District of Belitung (35.22 percent) and the City Pangkalpinang (34.81 percent). While TPK Bangka only 13.65 percent.
In March 2015, the average length of stay of the total at the five-star hotel for 2.01 days, an increase when compared to the previous month. During March, the average length of stay (1.95 days) was only 0.07 days shorter than Indonesian guests (2.02 days).

DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

The number of inter-island passenger sea transport departing from Bangka Belitung Province in March 2015 totaled 9.64 thousand people, up 15.87 percent over the previous month was recorded at 8.32 thousand people. When compared with the same period in the previous year (January - March 2014), the number of passengers fell by 34.11 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers coming in Bangka Belitung Province in March 2015, there were 10.32 thousand people, also increased by 16.35 percent compared to 8.87 thousand people in February 2015. When compared to the same period last year then the flow of incoming passengers also decreased by 17.03 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in March 2015 reached 574.81 thousand tons, an increase of 19.32 percent when compared to the previous month were recorded 481.73 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year an increase of up to 25.26 percent.
The volume of goods unloaded during the month of March 2015 amounted to 172.15 thousand tons, up 26.82 percent compared to the previous month amounted to 135.74 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year (January to March 2014) a decline of 14.97 percent.
The number of air passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in March 2015 climbed 7:06 cent to 85.88 thousand from the previous of 80.22 thousand people.
The number of passengers who come to Bangka Belitung using air transport in March 2015 amounted to 87.84 thousand passengers, an increase of 9.10 percent compared to the previous month to reach 80.52 thousand people.
