Abstract

  • The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2021 was worth US$317.78 million, an increase of 104.87 percent compared to the export value in December 2020.
  • The export value of tin rose by 152.38 percent, and non-tin decreased by 41.88 percent (y-on-y).
  • Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose 26.88 percent. Tin exports rose 27.55 percent and non-tin exports rose 16.35 percent.
  • During January-December 2021, Singapore absorbed 21.36 percent (US$495.75 million) of tin exports, while Malaysia absorbed 22.27 percent (US$78.23 million) of non-tin exports.
  • The export value of animal/vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-December 2021 dominated at US$254.77 million or 72.52 percent of the total non-tin exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
