Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in May 2023 was recorded at 42,302 people. This number increased by 25.41 percent compared to the number of guests the previous month, namely 33,730 people. The number of domestic guests increased by 26.03 percent and foreign guests decreased by 26.32 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in May 2023 reached 31.00 percent, up 6.14 points compared to the April 2023 TPK which was recorded at 24.85 percent.
The highest TPK of star hotels by district / city in May 2023 was in Central Bangka Regency at 44.77 percent and the lowest was Bangka Regency with a room occupancy rate of 12.21 percent.
In May 2023, the average length of stay of all guests in star hotels was 1.67 days, an increase of 0.17 days compared to the previous month.
