Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT

The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in July 2019 was valued at US $ 86.2 million, down 36.87 percent compared to the export value in July 2018.
The value of tin exports fell 49.08 percent and non-profits rose 27.54 percent (y-on-y).
Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports fell by 48.17 percent. Tin exports fell 55.00 percent and non-lead exports dropped 23.84 percent.
During January-July 2019, Singapore absorbed 53.51 percent (US $ 367.6 million) of tin exports, while Australia absorbed 19.94 percent (US $ 36.4 million) of non-lead exports.
The export value of mineral fuels (HS 27) in January-July 2019 dominates at US $ 79.2 million or 43.34 percent of the total non-regional exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT

The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in July 2019 was US $ 3.8 million, down 57.32 percent compared to July 2018. Thus, imports from January to July 2019 became US $ 10.3 million.
As many as 77.57 percent of imports in January-July 2019 were non-oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to July 2019 were dominated by machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 80.49 percent (US $ 6.46 million).
In January-July 2019, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 5.83 million (56.35 percent).
