In June 2020 there was inflation of 0.57 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 102.90
Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.28 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.40 percent; transportation group by 0.12 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 1.26 percent and the personal care and other services group by 0.45 percent. Meanwhile, some other groups experienced deflation including housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.11 percent; household appliances, equipment and routine maintenance by 0.57 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.31 percent.
