Abstract

A. TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

The number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in June 2020 was 3,953. This number increased by 45.33 percent compared to the previous month's number of 2,720 people. The number of foreign guests fell 100 percent and the number of domestic guests rose 45.38 percent.
Room Classification Rates (TPK) for star classification hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in June 2020 reached an average of 20.93 percent, up 5.04 points compared to the May 2020 TPK of 15.89 percent.
The highest ROR for star-rated hotels by district / city in June 2020 was in Pangkalpinang City by 35.53 percent, followed by Belitung Island (10.12 percent), Bangka Regency (5.96 percent), and Central Bangka Regency (5.00 percent ).
In June 2020, the average overall length of stay of guests at a star classification hotel was 1.67 days, a decrease of 0.13 days compared to the previous month.

B. TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in June 2020 was 2.09 thousand, up 52.85 percent compared to May 2020. When compared with the same period in the previous year (January-June 2019), the number departing passengers dropped by 66.54 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in June 2020 was 1.26 thousand. The number increased by 208.09 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-June 2019), the flow of incoming passengers has decreased by 68.99 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in June 2020 was 369.20 thousand tons, an increase of 0.32 percent compared to May 2020 which reached 368.03 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during June 2020 was 208.69 thousand tons, an increase of 25.04 percent compared to the previous month which reached 166.90 thousand tons.
The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in June 2020 was 8.11 thousand people, an increase of 853.11 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in June 2020 was 5.23 thousand people, an increase of 1,145.71 percent compared with the previous month.
