Abstract

A. DEVELOPMENT OF EXPORT

The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in July 2020 was worth US $ 83.0 million, a decrease of 3.77 percent compared to the export value in July 2019.
The export value of tin rose 23.39 percent, and non-tin decreased 60.92 percent (y-on-y).
Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the export value decreased by 16.64 percent. Tin exports fell 17.11 percent and non-tin exports fell 13.42 percent.
During January-July 2020, Singapore absorbed 22.72 percent (US $ 124.1 million) of tin exports, while Malaysia absorbed 21.94 percent (US $ 25.3 million) of non-tin exports.
The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-July 2020 dominated by US $ 86.5 million or 75.01 percent of the total non-imported exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

B. IMPORT DEVELOPMENT

The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in July 2020 was US $ 0.05 million, down 98.70 percent compared to July 2019. Thus, imports from January to July 2020 were US $ 9.84 million.
As many as 83.55 percent of imports in January-July 2020 were non-oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to July 2020 were dominated by machinery / mechanical aircraft (HS 84) amounting to 64.97 percent (US $ 5.34 million).
In January-July 2020, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 2.11 million (21.46 percent).
