Abstract

A. TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

The number of guests staying at star hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2020 was 30,203 people. This number increased by 4.51 percent compared to the number of guests in the previous month of 28,901 people. The number of domestic guests increased by 4.69 percent, and the number of foreign guests decreased by 72.46 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2020 reached an average of 28.79 percent, an increase of 0.37 points compared to the ROR for November 2020 which was recorded at 28.42 percent.
The ROR for star-rated hotels by regencies / cities in December 2020 was in Pangkalpinang City at 32.71 percent, followed by Central Bangka Regency (30.24 percent), P. Belitung (28.36 percent), and Bangka Regency (17.79 percent) ).
In December 2020, the overall average length of stay of guests at star classification hotels was 1.64 days, a decrease of 0.39 days compared to the previous month.

B. TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2020 was recorded at 4.99 thousand people, an increase of 12.70 percent compared to November 2020. When compared to the same period in the previous year (January-December 2019), departing passengers decreased by 67.98 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands in December 2020 was recorded at 4.04 thousand people. This number is up 8.23 percent over the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-December 2019), the flow of incoming passengers decreased by 70.09 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in December 2020 was 681.75 thousand tons, an increase of 0.19 percent compared to November 2020, which reached 680.49 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during December 2020 was 190.51 thousand tons, a decrease of 36.69 percent compared to the previous month which reached 300.93 thousand tons.
The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in December 2020 was recorded at 48.45 thousand people, an increase of 9.35 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers who came to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in December 2020 was 48.95 thousand people, an increase of 10.73 percent compared to the previous month.
