April 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Belitung Regency is 0.78 percent

Abstract

In April 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Belitung Regency of 0.78 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.11.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index in several expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.28 percent; clothing and footwear group at 4.19 percent; health group at 0.87 percent; transportation group at 0.32 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.59 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 5.86 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.69 percent. On the other hand, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation or a decline in the index were the housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 4.19 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.11 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.18 percent. Meanwhile, the education group did not experience a change in the index.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for East Belitung Regency in April 2024 are 0.29 percent and 1.10 percent respectively.
