Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in May 2024 was recorded at 43,524 people. This number increased by 19.96 percent compared to the number of guests the previous month which amounted to 36,283 people. The number of domestic guests recorded an increase (m-to-m) of 19.44 percent and the number of foreign guests recorded an increase (m-to-m) of 65.04 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate of star hotels in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in May 2024 was recorded at 29.11 percent, an increase of 5.26 points compared to the Room Occupancy Rate in April 2024 which was recorded at 23.85 percent.
The highest room occupancy rate of star hotels by district / city in May 2024 was in Bangka Tengah Regency at 37.92 percent and the lowest was Bangka Regency with a room occupancy rate of 15.65 percent.
In May 2024, the average length of stay of guests at star hotels was 1.58 days or decreased by 0.05 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in April 2024 which amounted to 1.63 days.
