May 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) East Belitung Regency amounting to 1.67 percent

Abstract

In May 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Belitung Regency amounting to 1.67 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.29.

Y-on-y inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by the index rose in several expenditure groups, namely: the provision group food and beverage/restaurants at 5.86 percent; treatment group personal and other services at 5.59 percent; clothing and footwear group by 3.57 percent; recreation, sports and culture group of 2.59 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group at 2.07 percent; health group at 1.22 percent; equipment group, equipment, and routine household maintenance by 0.41 percent; as well as groups transportation by 0.32 percent. On the other hand, the group that experienced y-on-y deflation or a decline in the index, namely the housing group, water, electricity and household fuel at 4.40 percent; as well as groups information, communication and financial services amounted to 0.12 percent. Whereas the education group did not experience changes in the index.
Month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate East Belitung Regency in May 2024 respectively at 0.17 percent and 1.27 percent.

In July 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Belitung Regency amounting to 1.16 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 102.86.

In March 2025, East Belitung Regency experienced a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 1.33 percent.
