In July 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Belitung Regency amounting to 1.16 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 102.86.

Y-on-y inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by the index rose in several expenditure groups, namely: the provision group food and beverage/restaurants at 5.86 percent; treatment group personal and other services by 5.10 percent; clothing and footwear group by 3.57 percent; health group at 0.88 percent; group supplies, equipment and routine household maintenance of 0.60 percent; transportation group by 0.55 percent; food groups, drinks and tobacco by 0.36 percent; recreation groups, sports, and culture by 0.26 percent; and the education group is 0.02 percent. On the other hand, groups that experience y-on-y deflation or occurrence the index decreases, namely the housing, water, electricity and fuel groups households by 2.36 percent; as well as information, communication, and groups financial services by 0.12 percent.
Month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate East Belitung Regency in July 2024 each at 0.75 percent and 0.12 percent.
