March 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Belitung Timur Regency will be 0.88 percent

Abstract

In March 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Belitung Regency of 0.88 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.81.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index in several expenditure groups, namely: clothing and footwear by 7.14 percent; health group at 1.06 percent; transportation group by 0.95 percent; sports and cultural recreation group at 2.59 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 6.17 percent; personal care and other services group amounted to 3.87 percent. On the other hand, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation or a decline in the index were the food, beverage and tobacco groups by 0.19 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 4.3 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.78 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.11 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for East Belitung Regency in March 2024 are 0.32 percent and 0.81 percent respectively.
